Walker, I know what that's like, having too many ideas running through your head at once...ugh, I hate that so much, how I write one series, then an idea comes up for a better one and I try not to totally ditch the first. That's how it is with Evanangel; it's getting harder to write because of ideas for an entirely different series. I struggle against it.

Thanks...I guess I need to stop changing my name all the time; this is my third name since I began writing here. Alpha Lance, 'thank ye kindly, lad'. (I like saying that, don't ask why.)

I wish I had more time to write Halo. But with school, and all my other fan fictions, its kinda hard to write Halo, but I will attempt to squeeze one in here and there...

Hey, Dispraiser, I'll occasionally pop up for a comment.
I don't particularly wanna' be one of those people who pop up and say, "Yeah, great story keep it up," but seeing as how I've got no insightful insight to give you, Wado (though it could porbably go the other way around) I'll just say it was an excellent story.

Yeah, I am pretty good, ain't I? Heh heh. I take a long time because I have so many ideas swirling around that I'm often planning two stories ahead, or 3 at once as I'm writing. It can get very tiresome...

Oh I do take recommendations, of course I'll read duckfoot's story. Give me a few days to get to it though, working on something else.

Great story Wado, but I'm a noob. But I have came a long ways. And, people should read Jinkaiden-XI stories. And Walker is right, Duckfoot is very good. You should read his story.

Duckfoot is new? He's already on part IV of a story isn't he? ;)
Yes, I agree with Walker that it seems like people play favorites. I would not call it discrimination though. People don't always leave comments on stories for a number of reasons, one very important one is simply time. With an average of ten new stories being posted per day (that's what Louis said was the number) then I can understand if no comments are left on stories.
I think a movement to support new writers is the answer because new or old, you don't know. Someone didn't know mr_bill or Sarge and they have been around from way before I came here but if they post a story now, they might be treated just like duckfoot.
It doesn't take much, one or two good comments on every story. So if you see a story with no good comments, especially one without comments at all, and it has been a few days, then by all means try to leave a comment. I think that will just make some writer's day.
If you want to go even further to help the new guys, I suggest you post a story no more than once per week or even better once per two weeks. Cutting down on the number of submissions from the older writers leaves more room for the new guys to shine and build their own following. There is no fair way to enforce this, so I leave that up to you, I only ask you think about it.

The lack of commentary in Duckfoot's latest piece is a sad example of discrimination against reputationless noobs. He's good, trust me. Imagine what would have happened if no one read Wado's stories? Or Disrpaiser's? Or Mainevent's? Or Nemesis'? HBO would not have the community it does today. We need to give new authors a chance, people. Support the New Author Support aka "Duckfoot" Movement.

Wado, great story. I read it the other day, but saying it was good was really like saying that hell is bad. It's implied in the name.

Might offend 90% of active HBO fanfic writers at the time. It seems like me, Walker and now you are the only veterans still around. And Forerunner and Frensa. They show up from time to time...
