Very cool intro. I keep reading all these really good fanfics, and it makes me want to write my own, but I'm afraid I won't do the characters justice, y'know?

Thanks guys... don't forget to check out my other story, Calistra, if you'd like more.
Second part coming no later than Dec. 5th (college finals, yada yada).

Sorry, Im confused. There are three rings all clumped together, spinning on difereent axises, with a planet in there center? Now, is each one habitable, or only one?
Regardless, great story for a N00B. 9.7/10. But just a warning, you may not get more than two or three responses during your first couple stories, because most people are way or newbies, N00B's, so dont get discouraged. Anyway, great story.

I like the start for sure. A little puzzled about Cortana. Seems like she could just be downloaded into new digs. I read the prequel novel "The Fall of Reach". I seem to recall something about them having a "lifespan" programmed in or something. So this ring is more complex huh? Multiple rings spinning on an axis each, with a "planet" centered in them? Kind of like the astronaut training thingamagigs I guess. Have you read or seen Contact? I'll come back and read more.
