Its amazing to come back a year later and see how great these works still are. I love how you've intertwined other mythological references (Medusa: Greek Mythology the Balrog: Lord of the Rings) into your stories. Most authors would do something like that and cheapen the effect, but your stories make it work.

Points well made Nike. I'd like to clarify that the Series "The Return of the Archons" is ending. Having grown up in the age of 90 minute movies, I'm bringing closer to this piece. However, if people continue to enjoy my writing and I have the time, I still have plenty of possiblilities to write based on the Master Chief and Archons in a Halo universe. I've already completed the final two parts of the 6 part Return series. I'm waiting to post them. This is all a new experience for me, having never published fiction before. Thanks for all the advice Nike and thanks to all for taking the time to write constructive comments.

I mean my series [which I'm not posting I might add] is over 10 parts long with over 40 chapters. Think about making your series longer. Just a thought.

Another thing: Why make your series so short? It's just like the Brethern of Saturn. It was only 5 chapters long. [No offense.] You should try to make a longer series.

Thanks, maybe I will write a book. I've learned some stuff while writing these chapters for an audience. You guys rock. I would go back and make some edits to fix things but hopefully would keep the content intact. I'm only planning on two more chapters in the Return of the Archons series - Blood in the Watcher's Eye and Queen Cortana. If you liked it so far, I'm going to try to blow you away with the last stuff. I'm thinking about continuing with possibly the "Spartan the Archon" (title not sure about) which takes place between to factions of the Archons with Master Chief caught in the middle of course. I don't know, I've got a bunch of other ideas too.

I only have one thing to say: you should write a book. I'm not kidding, it's THAT good.

Thanks for the comments. Actually, I do think this probably is the longest chapter so far. I even dozed off a few times writing the thing (can you tell?). I may have took on more than I could chew trying to fit the whole history of a civilization into one chapter while still trying to keep the storyline going, address Croaker's addiction to green ambrosia and a more indepth look at the chosen ones. Heck even this comment I'm writing about it rambles on.
