Nice story keep it coming. Its just pains me to see after 500 years we (humans) still use bullits. Anyways, great story.

Bullets are cool, and if you've played the game you'd know that in 500 years we do still use them.

I liked the story. It's nice to see someone describing aspects of military life other than battles, even if its just the bar scene. Top marks for creativity, but your grammar still hurts the overall value of the story. Keep it up, though. Too many writers here have the reverse problem, good grammar and bad idea, or worse, bad grammar and bad idea.

Stupid impersonators... I'll do as Nemesis did and name some of my stories: my latest was The Death of Ensign Lovell, adapted from William C. Dietz's "The Flood" and through Lovell's eyes. He died raising his pistol, and thinks that Dowski is a b!tch. This is me. Like Agent Shade, I also couldn't care less about this idiot's site. If he was any good he would expect people to go their on their own account, not to go because of other people's influence. I strongly encourage all of you to ignore him, and don't go to his site. There will probably be repercussions... but they won't be me.

Ender's Game is an awesome book. I heard Walker say something about it a while back, and my friend was reading it, and he let me borrow it. I must say it is a great book, at least to me. Halo has a lot of similarities.

Ender's Game - Ender's Shadow Speaker for the Dead - Shadow of the Hegemon Xenocide - Shadow Puppets Children of the Mind - *Not yet written *Not yet written/Never written - *Not yet written
In the first column are Ender's travels. The second column, to the right, are about Bean and Peter, Ender's Brother, and the other members of Ender's Jeesh and about war on earth. I recommend any of the books from any branch, but I think I made the right choice reading Game, then it's parallel, Shadow, then Hegemon, then Puppets. The Earth one is a lot more interesting... it involves my favorite character: Peter.

PS: I'm reading Dune by Frank Herbert... and it's one of those Sci-Fi classics *Written in '65* that never gets old, if you know what I mean. I here it's a popular game for Xbox, PC and PS2, too. Anyway, I'll inform you when I'm done if it's worth getting so crazy about it's a struggle to keep up with Haloism.

I liked Petra and Dink the most.
I didn't really like Peter. Bean was alright.
I'll have to read most of them now.

What? I thought you were done with Ender's Game... I only added in the number 18 and that I hate Bean and Petra. C'mon, flogged? Why not a keelhauling? Quoting Danny Glover as Commander Camparelli in the film version of Flight of the Intruder, "You're about to become the first man to be keelhauled in a hundred years. And that's serious on an aircraft carrier."
  Sorry.
