Great Story...a little short but good. In the next chapter you better include Peters not being used to the side arm much, and slowly adjusting to it...not like automatically he picked it up and worked wonders with it.

let me guess the story... the covie frigate has been either sent to glass the planet (because of the flood) or has been captured by the flood. i hope that it is the frst one. Hang on... how did the flood get off the Halo??? maybe the covies found another but the flood stole a ship or hid on one? bad news.... cool pistol though.

Uhh.... 5 bullets taking out an Elite's shields? And these are supposed to be ADVANCED bullets? Sounds more like pellets of catfood jammed into a gun barrel man.
The Pistol is cooler though, and the chapter wasnt bad, overall it was just sort of strange.

I reread it and here are a few things about it that were a little strange:
The AI is extremely weird, the story moved into a whole new setting without alot of detail, And Rodrequez seemed like she was almost stalking Peters, using the uniform thin as an excuse to see him naked. Just some little things...

Dont give her a first name. The beauty in reading is imigination. If given to much info, in this case a first name, everyone will put a face to someone they know with that name.

Elfster, your a stupid saying that the pistol's bullets arnt advanced because it takes 5 rounds to take out a sheild. unless you always play on easy, not legendary, 5 bullets would be too much. Why dont you try playing Legendary for once.
