I don't feel like reading this right now, but I probably will later. I'm sick, and tired, and hungry. I'll be eating turkey for the next three days.

Good, very good. I thought you could have expanded a little bit on the story, but I liked it. It had a very scary aspect to it. Do you mind if I try the same kind of story, (a few marines, out in the middle of no where, flood attack). I think with a little expansion I could turn this into a very scary story. Its up to you, I don't want to go stealing ideas.

This was a nice twist on the story. Peters' luck has gotten him through the Covenant, but can he survive the flood? Hmm, the flood have taken over the area. If so, wouldn't Peters and Karls have seen signs of the Flood taking over the radar station personel (i.e. green blood dripping from the ceiling, hideously chewed-up dead bodies and blood splats everywhere?) And since Karls has had an infection form almost infect him, wouldn't that mean that he's contracted the Flood virus and has only a few hours before it takes over his body and mutates him into a Flood?

I wouldn't know, but that gives me an idea I'll have to share with GLAD in private, since if its used I wouldn't want to say it here...
But anyways, it could have been a little scarier, and as I remember in the last chapter he only had 1 clip, and then Karls obviously had one in this chapter and he handed it to Peters, and Peters seemed to use alot more than just 120 rounds but I could be wrong

In The Flood the MC had his skin pierced by a flood form and was only saved when Cortana shocked his body with electricity, making the flood form go limp and fall off. The MC didn't turn into a flood.

Nice chapter. I really like this series. If I had to make a suggestion, it'd be to give a better idea of the bigger picture of where they are, not just little bits and pieces of their surroundings.

Thanks, GLADIATRRR3000. The story probably won't come out for a while, because I'm in the middle of my own series right now, but keep an eye out for it. Oh, and I'll definitely give a shout out to ya for it.

ok, time to settle the rumours about Flood infesting: The spore(the little squid, slug thing) burrows into the victim (human, elite, grunt, jackle), and uses its highly advanced skills to take control of the body, whether it is alive or recently dead. it then uses ts mutating toxins secreted from its tentacles to mutate the body. for humans and elites, it turns them into a combat form. for grunts, jackles, they get turned into carriers, which are used to grow more spores.
i hope that this settles about the flood infesting

Oops, i forgot to add.... karls cant mutate cause the spore has to STAY in the victim for at least 24 hours.
