The Elites seem to be warriors of Honor, I don't see why they wouldn't let the humans live. If my ship was being over run and my enemy helped me out, sure they can live. the enemy of enemy is my friend or some shit like that

Yes, I would, or at least hope someone else would, if that same terrorist say, I dunno, flew a plane into the World Trade Center.
The Elites are warriors of honor, which is precisely why they would let no Human live. The condition of their honor, their battle poem, their fate, rests upon their fulfilling every wish of the Prophets. At this time, that is to make sure no human lives, no matter what the cost. That is their goal. That is their war.

well, i thought interpreting my own opinion into the halo world was wrong. i figured the covenant would fight with the humans to destroy a more potential threat to them all.
