1245 Hours, July 18, 2552 (Military Calendar)/ point-to-point transmission: origin: NavSpecWep Section Three, UNSC HQ Epsilon Eridani System, Reach Military Complex; termination: SCS Almagest, IONCLAD PROJECT, Gamma Cephei System

United Nations Space Command Priority Transmission 09477W-66 Encryption Code: Red Public key: file /excised access Omega/ From: Rear Admiral Simon Drummond, Project Director, IONCLAD/ (UNSC Service Number: 01091-19445-SD) To: Petty Officer First Class SPARTAN-111 (UNSC Service Number: SEC3-S111-S) Subject: Additional mission objectives. Classification: SECRET (BGX Directive)
/start file/ Sophia, No sooner have I briefed the Section on the progress of the prototype than I have Lieutenant Commander Gough asking to borrow you for a flyby of a farm colony out near your neck of the woods. As I understand it, one of the new Seychelles frigates was headed that way when its beacon disappeared. Now, the fleet's spread far too thin to divert any reinforcements, but I agreed to the request since you have a relative on board this lost ship, and I know how you would react if you did not do something for lack of information. Once that's sorted out, of course, make all haste to the original rendevous and help MatÃz clean up over there. We'll be eagerly awaiting your safe return following the extraction.
  Regards, Drummond
