Yea, that was good, but just try to form your sentences better. They tend to be overly long, sometimes run-on, and confusing.
Other than that, I like the story. Interesting how the Forerunner are respresented.

Uh...that huge thing wasn't an Overlord...read previous chapters...overlords are about the size of a cruiser

10/10! That rocked!
It's uhh... pretty weird that the Overlord would be that. I always thought of it as more insect/dragon-like. But a flood-infested tree works LoL.
