uh, the flood nfection form has to STAY in the victems body. Examples include Sgt Johnson, who was with Keyes in 343GS. Basiclly, the flood tried to get Johnson, but he had Boren syndrome so they couldnt control him. BUT he still had a little flood DNA in him, nothing to be worried about, but the point is he DID NOT turn into flood cause the infection form couldnt stay in his body. ANOTHER example is.... the MC! yes, the hero nearly got floodified, as shown in Halo: the Flood. the flood DID manage to 'get under his skin', but cortana saved him by electrocuting that little ball of slime. POP!. Anyway, even though Johnson and the MC had flood stick their tentacles in their spines, they are both normal people BECAUSE THE FLOOD DID NOT STAY IN THEIR BODIES!!!! its like, DUH!!
