The length was worth it, though. Amazing, simply amazing. The only problem I found was the ship's "complete stop". For that to happen the ship would have to fire reverse thrusters. If they cut their engines, the momentum of the ship is still propelling them forward. Other than that, I have no clue as how you come up with this stuff... big bad, full-scale multi-front battles. You have to be hopped up on something...

A pretty good story, but there are just a few notes. No. 1, in the last story all of the marines had spent there ammo and had gone into hand-to-hand combat with the Covenant. But when the Flood arrived everybody was shooting. Where did the extra ammo come from?
No.2, you had one (or mabye a few, I cant remember) accounts of the Blade of Wraith dodging a plasma torpedoe with its thrusters. You dont simply DODGE a plasma torpedoe, it has tracking abilities. Even when it passes a ship it comes back for it (as mentioned in H:TfoR and H:FS), and the space battle seemed a little to easy for the humans. Six against three and they still one, not to mention there was a Cruiser involved, which is 10x more powerful than any other Covenant ship. If the Covenant ships had been all frigates and the human ships Super-Cruisers, then yeah, alright, I'd be willing to except those odds. A fair story overall. I give it a B.

To answer your question, n00b/newb/newbie, is derived from the term "new blood." It is a term applied to people who are new to a game or game universe.

Lovely, a few errors, but still very good... I hope they get Owens back (one way or another). Concerning the space battle. You wrote that the Blade Of Wrath came to a stop when her engines fired. That doesn't make sense at all... to stop a ship in space, the thrusters hve to fire forward, not just shut down, to make a ship stop. Otherwise it'll just keep going at it's present speed. In space, the fastest ship is the ship with the highest accseleration(can't spell). But then again... humans black out at 7g accseleration. So try not to go faster than that (lol).
