Nice story, I like to know that not all the Marines suck against the Flood, like in 343GS. 8.5/10

The M808 Scorpion requires two marines to drive and gun it. Master Chief and the other spartans can do it because they have a nueral interface that they can use to link directly into the scorpion. Look closely at the top in single player, there is another hatch for a person to enter it.

hmmm, i expected comments like these...have you read the prologue to this story? if you haven't, you should, as it clears up a lot of things that you require to know...the scans of a Longsword fighter are limited, unlike those of a cruiser or destroyer, and i also said that the environmental systems that keep Halo the way it is (like a second Earth) were all still intact after the blast...also, ThreadedAce3 has a point, the whole story of Halo is unrealistic, thank you for your comments.

Hate to tell you Jamirus, but the whole story of Halo is unrealistic, and this piece of writing fits right in there with it. Other than a few punctuationsl errors, this was a great start to a series.

A nice beginning....but had such a large piece of Halo escaped destruction, Cortana would've noticed it; it would've been scanned and she would've realized there were people alive.
Also, in the event that by some freak accident Cortana didn't, it doesn't matter. Wit the grav containment field destroyed, the atmosphere would've vented, and there would be no gravity. Sorry- but slightly unrealistic!
