They stepped forward, without being called.
They answered the call without being motioned
The leader, The one they call "Chief", lead the troops forward
He signed up, along with the rest.
They fought bravely, the end was near
He got up, tired of fighting
He waited for death, his friends calling
They all stood up, waiting and firing
They waited and waited, but Death never came
The Covenant stormed the hill, trying to kill them
But they fought back and the Covenant defeated
Finally, they gave up, and the humans won
They were brought back to base, and were heros
After the war, they stayed together
Staying in a old apartment, having fun
They will stay with each other, even in death
These men, they are truly a Band of Brothers......
